THE LEGAL BIT
Lone Wolf Law offers legal advice and services to clients. All legal services provided are supervised by a qualified and practicing solicitor with the requisite experience in the relevant practice area upon which they are advising or providing services.

-
Hannah Kate Gibbard (Director) is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority (SRA). SRA ID No: 294676
-
All legal services provided by Lone Wolf Law are non-reserved legal services. This includes representation/appeal advocacy before the SEND Tribunal.
-
Under the Legal Services Act 2007, we are permitted to provide non-reserved or unregulated legal services in England and Wales without being a law firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
-
SRA regulation is only a requirement ‘reserved legal activities are being provided. Lone Wolf Law is not regulated by the Solicitors' Regulation Authority (the “SRA”).
-
Our unregulated status significantly reduces our compliance obligations, which, in turn, lowers our overhead costs. These savings are passed on to our clients, enabling us to offer premium legal services at a fraction of the conventional costs offered by traditional law firms.
As a solicitor regulated and authorised by the SRA, Hannah’s clients are afforded the following protections:

-
the requirement for her continuous professional learning and development;
-
continued adherence to the ethical and professional standards applicable to solicitors as set out in the SRA Principles and the SRA Code of Conduct for Solicitors. These are available on the Solicitors Regulation Authority's website, www.sra.org.uk; and
-
legal privilege applies to all legal advice.
-
Financial Integrity - In adherence to SRA regulations, we are prohibited from holding client money in personal accounts. Lone Wolf Law also does not operate a client account and does not hold any client money in any transactional matters.
-
SRA Compensation Fund - The SRA Compensation Fund is a discretionary fund that provides a safety net for risks that professional indemnity insurance is unable to cover. Clients of Lone Wolf Law will not be able to claim under the SRA Compensation Fund in respect of services carried out by Lone Wolf Law.

Costs and Complaints Procedure - We work with our clients on a fixed-fee basis for the non-reserved legal services provided through our Company. As our solicitors and advocates only provide non-reserved legal services to the public from an unregulated entity, we are not required to publish price and service information under the SRA Transparency Rules.

Under the SRA Code of Conduct for Solicitors our lawyers have a personal duty to establish, maintain and provide an adequate complaints handling system.

We have a robust complaints handling process. If any issue arises, clients can initiate complaints via email to our Head of Operations contact@lonewolflaw.co.uk Should a complaint not be satisfactorily resolved within eight weeks, then clients have the right to escalate the issue to the Legal Ombudsman.
